Championing Women in Tech at the World’s Largest Economic Forum
This year, Global Women TechLeaders (GWTL) had the privilege of being represented at the World Economic Forum in Davos, one of the most influential gatherings of global leaders. As part of Davos Innovation Week, our CEO took the stage at the “Decoding the Invisible Ceiling in Tech” panel, hosted by QuantumfAI.
Key Highlights from Davos 2025
🌍 Panel Discussion: Our CEO joined industry leaders Virginie Guignard Legros, Désirée Dosch, Valentina Ion, and Deniz Erkus, CFA to discuss real, actionable strategies to increase the presence of women in tech leadership.
🏆 Celebrating Women in Innovation: It was inspiring to see Teodora Moraru win the Startup Innovation Awardfor her startup, Admin Tools—a recognition of the incredible impact women-led startups can achieve.
🔍 The Reality Check: Despite progress, women remain underrepresented in leadership and startup funding at major tech events.
Looking Ahead to Davos 2026
While we celebrate the achievements of women in tech, we also recognize the need for stronger representation, more allies, and systemic change. Our goal for Davos 2026 is clear:
✅ More women-led startups at the innovation forefront
✅ Stronger industry collaborations for gender equity in tech
✅ A balanced leadership ecosystem where women and men work together to drive change
Change doesn’t happen in isolation. It requires collaboration, advocacy, and continuous action. At GWTL, we are committed to making this vision a reality.
